High-end restaurant with creative Mediterranean dishes served in a rustic-chic dining room.
Chef Anthony Genovese’s Pagliaccio is one of the best gourmet tables in the Eternal City. In Rome in this kitchen oriental flavours mix with Roman and Italian ingredients. All the dishes are beautiful to look at as well as being particularly good.
Please note that the menu does not include à la carte choices but only 4 fixed price menus with tasting sessions.
Food Shop with typical products from the Apulia region (Puglia). A place where you can shop for typical south of Italy products and a place where you can stop and eat at any time of the day, given the continuous opening hours. The offer is mainly savoury, with pucce, rustici and focacce (flatbreads) as the main protagonists.
The location is in a characteristic square in the heart of Trastevere, with suggestive tables under the trees in the centre of the square, and a lovely, characteristic interior with clothes hanging from the ceiling. The menu ranges from typical Roman cuisine to more national dishes. The quality is decent, the portions are not large, the service is typical of restaurants that handle large numbers of tourists. A typically touristy restaurant that is nevertheless worth a visit, with good value for money.
